This is getting embarrassing, and quickly.
A Thursday night game is not fun for either team. You never know which Cutler you’re gonna get, but I always bet you’ll see the bad Cutler. Give me the 49ers to win by more than 3.
Given the start the Titans had, it’s a funny line. But I think we all know where the Bills are headed. I think the line is too much, though. I’ll take the Titans to win but the Bills will cover.
Not much to say here. The Bucs will prove last week was an anomaly. I’ll take the Dolphins.
Hard to figure this one, so I’ll just say the hell with it and make it an upset. Give me the Jaguars for the straight-up win.
Oh, Broncos, my Broncos. They’ve looked incredibly horrible the last two weeks. I wonder if they’ve won their last game. Travelling for an early game in the East, and a short week, but a really bad opponent, the stars are aligning. I’m real tempted to pick Washington to cover, but loyalty dictates that I pick the Broncos.
Heh, thirteen isn’t even close. The Saints win this 1-vs-16 matchup, and it wouldn’t surprise me if it looks like an NCAA round 1 1-16 matchup on the scoreboard, either.
That’s a huge number. Yes, the Vikings are incredibly good, and the Lions incredibly not, but it’s too much. I’ll take the Lions to cover, but they’ll lose.
One of a couple pickem games this week. And it’s tougher than it first looks. But I’ll stick with the spread — give me the Falcons to win this one.
There’s nothing like hatred to make you not think straight. And I hate the Steelers. But I cannot believe the Bengals are dogs by a whole touchdown. Cincinnati, I believe. Give me the Bengals straight up.
Yikes, I wonder if anyone will see this game. Willingly. These are two terrible teams, but the Chiefs are just a little bit better. I’m tempted to push, but I’ll take the Chiefs winning this one outright.
Nine’s kind of a big number for this one, I believe. But the Seahawks are just not good. Kurt Warner followed up a 5 INT game with a 5 TD game last week for Arizona, and that inconsistency gives me pause. In fact, though I think the Cardinals will win, the Seahawks will cover.
A one-point spread is a pickem. But the Chargers should get three just for being at home, so I think the Eagles are actually favored in this one. I’ll bite, give me the Eagles straight up.
The Packers looked like something other than sharp last week. The Cowboys showed me something against the Eagles last week, and I’ll ride this pony. As much as I’m not comfortable with it, I’ll take the Cowboys by more than 3.
Were it not for the AFCN showdown in Pittsburgh, this is easily the game of the week. Two powerhouses going at it. The Colts get their three for being at home, making this essentially a pickem. And, in a pickem, you always take the Colts.
The Ravens are close to being out of it, and ten is a big number. The Brownies have their own problems, but they’re not losing this game by that much. Ravens win, Browns cover.
