A web-based news aggregator. My news reader of choice, for a few reasons:
- Web-based, access from anywhere.
- Web-based, less bandwidth for me and for the news sites.
- Publicly available blogs and blogrolls.
- Ability to mark some feeds as “private,” so they don’t show up in the publicly-accessible blogrolls.
Bloglines allows you to view any user’s feeds that they subscribe to (and that they’ve made the subscription public). As such, it acts like a del.icio.us for RSS, allowing you to discover feeds that others think are similar to ones that you like.
