In computing, the implementation of a computer (usually networked) as a media device, including:
- network attached storage for music, movies, videos, and photos
- a TV tuner to watch and record TV
- a wireless keyboard, or other remote, for controlling the PC
- a TV-based (ie., low res, big fonts) interface for getting at your stuff
- some sort of software to hold the whole thing together.
