McCain adviser got money from Georgia

Randy Scheunemann, John McCain’s chief foreign policy adviser, and Scheunemann’s business partner have received hundreds of thousands of dollars in business deals from the government of the Republic of Georgia over the past 4 years or so.

No wonder McCain’s trying to use the Russia/Georgia conflict as a campaign issue — his people have a financial stake in the outcome.

Never in my life have I seen a presidential candidate, from any party, as smarmy and shady as John McCain. Talk about a broken vetting process. If I were in the Republican leadership (perish the thought), I would not allow this guy anywhere near a presidential campaign.
