Bobby Jindal, the current governor of Louisiana, performed an exorcism in the early 90s as referenced in an article he wrote in the New Oxford Review, a Catholic journal. Governor Jindal is on McCain’s list of VP candidates.
I’m on record as predicting that “a minority” won’t win the presidency, meaning now that, BARRing (oh, so sorry about that) a third-party miracle, McCain will be president. (Or I could be wrong. But whatever.) I’m wondering if we’ll have an exorcist as Veep. I suppose it could be a handy thing to have around. There’s plenty of voodoo already being believed in Washington, and perhaps Jindal could help rid us of some of it. But I don’t think that he’ll be exorcising the stuff that I think needs exorcised.
