can you tell me how to fix my modem

Perfect! — you can tell me how to fix my modem/get rid of these pop-ups/get Windows to recognize my scanner/et cetera.” Um, no. No, I probably can’t. This is worse than asking a doctor at a party why your feet hurt. This is like asking a dentist at a party why your feet hurt.
