Whatson is a series of scripts used to view and manage tv listings. Data is downloaded via XMLTV and is placed into a MySQL database, then PHP scripts are viewed through a web browser to display and manage the listings.

here’s a hint: NOT EVERYONE RUNS MySQL. (it SUCKS!) it SUCKS…. here’s another hint: locking a program into one database type is one of the stupidest things a programmer can do. use something like adodb

Feel free to submit a patch that replaces the db layer with adodb or similar. As for “NOT EVERYONE,” this software was developed for my personal use and 100% of me uses MySql. :)
