There also exists a iPod mini, a smaller version of the device, and an iPod shuffle, a flash-based player without a screen.

Update: On 7 September 2005, Apple discontinued the hard-drive based iPod mini in favor of the flash memory based iPod nano.

Update: On 12 October 2005, Apple released the fifth generation iPod (pictured), which also plays video.
